Why This Blog Exists

Why I Made This Blog

I created this blog site for the woman who has spent so much time thinking about everyone else that she has started to lose track of herself.

Maybe you have questioned your choices, held back your opinions, struggled to say no or found yourself becoming a different version of yourself depending on who you are around.

Maybe nothing is obviously wrong, but something does not quite feel right.

YOU KNOW THERE IS MORE TO YOU, BUT YOU ARE NOT ALWAYS SURE HOW TO REACH IT.

That is where this blog began.

We explore the questions that sit underneath everyday life. Why do we shrink ourselves? Why do we change around other people? Why is it so difficult to trust ourselves? Why do we struggle to express what we really think, feel and want?

These are not questions with perfect answers.

They are questions worth asking.

Because sometimes understanding why we behave the way we do is the first step towards changing it.

This blog is about self expression, authenticity, confidence, boundaries, self worth and the complicated relationship we have with ourselves and the people around us.

You will find honest conversations, different perspectives and practical things you can actually take into your own life.

Not instructions for becoming a completely different person.

Not another version of who you are supposed to be.

Just a space to stop for a moment, question what you have accepted, listen to yourself a little more closely and make room for more of who you really are.

Because perhaps the goal is not to become someone better.

Perhaps it is to become more comfortable being yourself.

The Self-Expressed

Life through self-expression

Self-expression is the honest sharing of your thoughts, feelings, and creativity with the world. When you express yourself freely, life feels lighter, more connected, and more aligned with who you truly are.
